This is gonna be a good few days, let me tell you.

I'm Nick. I'm 18, the guitarist for Flashbang, and I'm nothing less than the product of being left to my own devices. I let people get the best of me, and I set myself up for failure more often than not. Despite this, I keep going with the intention of finding my way through the world at whatever means necessary.

So my mom just got home from New York
- Mom: Do you have something nice to wear to the party tomorrow?
- Nick: Party? What party?
- Mom: Yeah, your graduation party!
- Nick: ....we're having a party for that?
- Mom: Of course! Your stepbrothers are gonna be here and everything!
- Nick: ...do we have to?
- Mom: Yes. I swear sometimes I wonder how such a boring person came out of me.
- Nick: -under my breath- sometimes I wonder if I came out of you.
- Mom: -walking out of the room- unfortunately for you, you did.
